Knitting Night Madness
Y'all, med student knitting night (or knitting knight as I always want to type) is getting so huge. It tempts me, a la Yarn Harlot, to feel as if knitters are taking over the world. That would be nice. But I'm satisfied with merely taking over my living room on Wednesday nights.
Ginny and Sara, taking a breather while Loki chews on his Bullystick
Josie is knitting an adorable raglan sweater for her very own baby, which will be born a lot sooner than the last time I saw Josie!
Josie allowed me to perform Leopold Maneuvers on her. Babe was in transverse lie, as far as I could tell.
Greg considered taking up knitting after trying Maggie's Orange Chocolate Mousse
Sarah and Stephanie
Sarah is knitting with Lion Brand Landscapes, which I really want to try. Stephanie is a crocheting machine on her baby blanket. She also conquered the biggest yarn tangle I have ever seen (that says a lot, coming from swiftless, ball-winderless me).
The Craft Couch
From left to right, I'm knitting a sock toe-up. Then Naomi finished her first sock, but was too distracted by the mousse, wine, and socializing frenzy to start sock #2. Maggie is rocking her multi-directional scarf. Zach is using my e-tray (or L-tray, if you prefer) to do maths. We let him count maths as a craft, similar to how Avi counts drinking beer as a craft. If you like my e-tray, you can email my brother from his website (see sidebar) and order one from Close-Enough Construction.
See you at the next knitting night!
